Offer description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the daily operations of a retail store in Cairns.


Key Responsibilities:

* Operate the till and accurately handle cash, cheques and credit/debit card transactions
* Process sales and package orders received from customers
* Follow cashing up procedures and maintain accurate records
* Assist in changing display of shop stock and receiving deliveries
* Maintain a safe and secure environment, including fire exits and escape routes

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good relationship building skills and ability to work within a team
* Valid Driver's license and preferably Forklift license
* Cash handling experience and ability to use modern computerised equipment
