Overview
Kairos Community College is seeking two Teacher Aides to join our Caloundra campus team, playing an important role in supporting both teachers and students in our Years 10-12 classrooms. Part time, term-time only, commencing Term 1 2026.
Teacher Aides at Kairos are integral members of the team. You will work directly with students, providing learning support tailored to their needs, assisting with classroom activities, and helping create an environment where young people feel valued, capable, and motivated.
Responsibilities
- Provide learning support to students in Years 10–12, tailored to individual needs.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and student engagement.
- Support the creation of an inclusive, positive learning environment where students feel valued and motivated.
Who we are looking for
- Enthusiastic about supporting young people to re-engage with learning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work collaboratively.
- Willing to contribute positively to the culture of a growing campus.
- Hold or be working towards additional qualifications such as a TAE, Certificate II in Hospitality, or a Light Rigid vehicle licence (highly regarded).
