Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, neurodiversity affirming psychologist or mental health social worker. Part‐time, 2‐3 days per week, in a collaborative private practice in Canberra. You will be able to maintain independence, focus on clinical work, and grow your professional practice.
What a Day Looks Like
* Maximum of 5 clients per day, with scheduling input.
* Dedicated administrative time, lunch, and supervision.
* Collaborative schedule developed with the team.
* Opportunities for breaks, walks, team lunch, and informal debriefs.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment, therapy, and related mental‐health services to clients, including those with trauma, emotional regulation issues, sexuality/gender concerns, and neurodivergent presentations.
* Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
* Qualification(s) in Psychology or Mental Health Social Work.
* Current registration with AHPRA or AASW.
* At least 2 years post‐qualification experience.
* Alignment with our clinic's values of neurodiversity affirming, trauma‐informed, and inclusive care.
* Current professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Medicare provider number (or willingness to obtain).
* Excellent communication skills.
