**How You'll Make a Difference**:
As Support Workers, you will be changing the lives of adults and their families impacted by alcohol and other drugs.You'll do this by providing a range of services, including (but not limited to) resolving straight-forward client equiries, transporting residents to activities and appointments, supporting shopping for client's needs and participating and assisting in therapeutic education group activities. Please note assisting with personal care is not a requirement of this role, all of our residential clients are assessed as capable of managing all personal care before intake into our Therapeutic Community.
You will work within as part of a multidisciplinary team, to support individuals and families experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) dependence.
This position will provide support to people with significant AOD issues who are participating in residential treatment within the Karralika Therapeutic Community.
The position will include evening and weekend shifts on a fortnightly roster, and the position is offered as either full-time, part-time, or on a casual basis.

**What You'll Bring to the Team**:
To be considered for this position, you must hold relevant qualifications in Community Services, including alcohol and other drugs/mental health or a willingness to complete.
You will preferably have experience working in the AOD or another relevant sector, together with experience working within a residential based community program. Please refer to the Position Description linked above for more information about the requirements for this role.
