About the role
This position is for a CAD Drafts Person. You will be responsible for creating detailed factory ready construction and assembly drawings. Using (CAD) software to support the engineering and construction activities of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Produce 2D and 3D drawings for a variety of construction projects, including shop drawings for clients approval.
* Create detailed technical specifications and documentation to support the manufacturing and installation processes
* Collaborate with project managers and directors to ensure drawings and designs meet project requirements.
* Provide support and guidance to manufacturing team.
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in engineering drafting or a related field (advantage)
* Ideally 3 years of experience in a similar CAD drafting role, ideally within the construction industry
* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other CAD software, with a strong understanding of drafting principles and standards
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset to contribute to the success of projects
