Rockingham Toyota is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee the operation of our busy workshop. Lead our close-knit workshop team to achieve excellence in vehicle servicing.
Responsibilities
* Correctly loading jobs into the workshop to make best use of technician skills.
* Ensure efficient workshop flow with capped price service jobs.
* Prioritise jobs where additional work may be required.
* Act as the bridge between the workshop team and advisor team.
* Ensure the workshop is maintained and kept safe and tidy in accordance with Toyota standards.
* Liaise with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to ensure daily targets are achieved.
* Ensuring commitment and compliance to OHS and other company policies.
* Contribution to reaching monthly guest satisfaction targets – allocate the right job to the right technician to minimise rework.
Qualifications
* Qualified Mechanics looking to make the next step in their career, or an applicant currently in a workshop foreman position.
* Knowledge and Mechanical Experience in the Automotive Industry.
* A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent.
* A current Driver's License.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Reporting to the Service Manager you will work as part of a solid team to ensure work is carried out at the highest standard and that customer satisfaction is always exceeded.
