About the role
We are seeking an Operator Cranes & Transport to promote safety awareness and safe work practices at Dampier Port Operations. This residential role offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills to make a difference. This role involves a 5/5/4 hybrid shift roster of days and nights, reporting to the Cranes and Belts Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating various slewing and non-slewing cranes such as Liebherr LTM1150, LTM1300, and Terex 25 in single shifts.
- Transporting equipment across site and local areas.
- Assisting with rigging duties when required.
- Conducting routine inspections and operating cranes.
- Raising notifications for equipment issues and utilizing SAP daily.
- Using safety systems and tools to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Working collaboratively in a team to meet daily targets.
- Collaborating with maintenance teams as needed.
What you'll bring
To qualify, you should have:
- An Australian "HR" Class Driver's License; a "HC" License is desirable.
- High-risk work licenses including CO, CN, RI, LF.
- Experience operating Liebherr cranes.
- Basic SAP experience is preferred.
- A passion for safe work practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to relocate to Karratha.
