About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded urban planning and design consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and people-focused projects across Western Australia. With a growing portfolio of master planning, precinct development, and public realm projects, they are seeking an experienced Urban Designer, Senior Urban Designer or Principal to join their collaborative team in Perth.
The Role
This position offers the chance to work on landmark projects shaping Perth's future. The successful candidate will contribute creative design solutions, strategic thinking, and technical expertise across a range of urban design projects. Senior applicants will also provide leadership, mentor junior designers, and manage client relationships to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high-quality urban design concepts, master plans, and public realm strategies.
* Collaborate with planners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve integrated design outcomes.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and visual material for clients and approvals.
* For senior candidates: lead projects, manage client engagement, and provide guidance to junior team members.
About You
* Degree-qualified in Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture.
* Urban Designer: 3+ years' experience in urban design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Senior Urban Designer: 6+ years' experience with proven leadership and project management skills.
* Strong portfolio showcasing master planning and public realm projects.
* Proficiency in design software.
* Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
