**About the role**
Working in a small and dynamic team, the role of Farm Hand is very hands on. Therefore, you must be available to work wide-ranging hours, including weekends based on seasonal demand.
Whilst this is initially a casual position, the importance of this role and the support to the manager will be ongoing. The right person must be willing to commit and will have the potential to move into a permanent full time offering.
The role involves day to day orchard work including tractor operation, netting, spraying, some landscaping and gardening duties. During our season period, you will be working closely with the Pick You Own tourism team. Therefore, you a friendly, customer service attitude is a must.
**About you**
- Experience in orchard/farm duties
- Ability to undertake farm labouring tasks
- The desire to grow and be an asset whilst working closely with the manager
- Trustworthy, motivated and positive nature
- Able to work as part of a team or on your own
- Physically fit and love working outdoors (in all weather)
- Good communication skills
- Hold a current driver's license
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: From $26.73 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
