School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Full-time, permanent position Base salary will range from $115,645 - $129,654 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Based at our Dutton Park campus About This Opportunity Do you have expertise in the health/pharmaceutical sector working with students on placement or liaising with universities regarding placements? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Partnerships and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Manager to join our world-class School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on a continuing basis. Play an integral role in the education of our future pharmacists and create an exceptional student experience! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the School’s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) services for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. You will lead the development and management of strategic provider relationships and operational management of the School’s postgraduate WIL services, and oversee the School’s undergraduate WIL services. This rewarding role is both industry facing, and student facing. Industry facing duties: You will liaise with relevant professionals in clinical and non-clinical services to create new and innovative WIL opportunities for new and developing postgraduate programs, establish written placement agreements, provide guidance and support with complex undergraduate WIL arrangements, and build and maintain strong, positive relationships with these partners. Student facing duties: You will work with students, academic and administrative staff to ensure that postgraduate students are WIL ready for advanced placements and then triage any student and provider concerns while on placement. The role will contribute to the overall student experience and the resultant success of the School’s programs. About You A degree in a health or behavioural science discipline and relevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience (in placements, pharmaceutical industry, or relationship management); or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Proven success in a business development role with a focus on creating new opportunities. Experience in the management of a small team, preferably in student support or a client services role. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and maintain relationships with new and existing placement providers by demonstrating strong consultation and negotiation skills. Demonstrated understanding of the demands and opportunities within a complex and multidisciplinary clinical, research and/or teaching environment. Demonstrated ability to critically review processes and policies, making recommendations for improvement. Strong organisational skills in managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong written, verbal and negotiation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences in the health and tertiary education sectors.
