We’re looking for a Head of Growth to lead and own our growth engine at Global Prime, end-to-end. This is a rare role with massive autonomy. You’ll conceive, launch, and optimise bold growth initiatives across performance marketing, brand, lifecycle, content, and product-led growth. Starting solo (but not for long), you’ll experiment fast, scale what works, and build a team as traction grows. Think of yourself as a performance marketer, brand strategist, copywriter, data analyst and lifecycle guru - rolled into one.

Founded in 2010, Global Prime is an ASIC-regulated FX and CFD broker with traders in over 160 countries around the world, dedicated to democratising access to the financial markets for all. Sister brand to Fusion Markets and Day1x (of which our clients trade over $200 billion of notional volume on our trading platforms worldwide). We have big dreams, know-how, and a high bar for the talent we want on the bus* with us to get there. Yes, finance can be serious stuff, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously (*note: sorry, we don't actually have our own bus). We're in some brand-new digs in South Yarra (Goldfields House), complete with 6-star amenities, an infrared sauna and enough wine to last three decades! Who are we looking for?
You’re a hands-on operator with a growth mindset and a solid track record building high-performing brands. You’ve likely worked in FX, fintech, or another regulated, high-growth environment, and you know what it takes to move fast without breaking things (or the various regulations we must adhere to). If you’ve ever been described as a one-person marketing army, we want to talk! Our ideal candidate will:
* Have 3+ years in growth, performance marketing, or brand strategy
* Be fluent in data, creative in messaging, and obsessed with measurable outcomes
* Be confident running solo, but equally comfortable building and leading teams
* Posses a deep understanding of the full customer journey, from acquisition to activation to retention
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the company’s goals to become a leading global player in the FX/CFD space.
* Design, launch, and optimise paid, owned and earned channels to drive new traders and cultivate long-term growth loops.
* Craft positioning that differentiates Global Prime in the crowded FX/CFD space. Ensure every touchpoint: ad copy, website, emails, social, webinars, speaks in a consistent, trader-centric voice.
* Start hands-on; identify when to bring in agencies, contractors or hires to multiply impact. Manage budgets and forecast ROI to secure additional spend when campaigns prove positive.
* Map each step from first click to first trade; remove friction in KYC, funding and platform onboarding. Partner with product/ops to improve UX, payment flows and trader experience.
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure growth performance and optimise strategies.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest growth marketing trends and technologies.
Requirements
* Proven track record of driving significant growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Extensive past experience in rolling the sleeves up and wearing multiple hats at the same time. You never say "that's not my job".
* Deep understanding of growth marketing principles, including customer acquisition, activation, retention, and advocacy.
* Awesome communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are a router of information.
* Channel mastery: at least two of SEM, paid social, programmatic, affiliates, lifecycle, SEO/content; enough knowledge of the rest to manage specialists later.
* At least two years of experience of working in FX/CFDs and/or financial markets (or it's your passion) is preferred.
