Job Description
The Role:
As the face of our reception desk, you'll be responsible for ensuring we don't simply deliver service, but go above and beyond to create meaningful and authentic moments of hospitality. You won't just be checking guests in and out, you'll be setting the tone for their entire experience. Your role will include taking reservations over the phone, running daily reports to identify special requests, anticipating guest service needs, and ensuring all procedures are followed. You'll also listen to and resolve guest concerns with care and professionalism.
We're looking for someone who thrives on connection, takes pride in anticipating needs, and genuinely enjoys creating personalised service moments that leave guests feeling seen, valued, and truly welcome.
The Hours:
This is a casual role across a 7-day rotating roster. Shifts typically run:
* 7:00am – 3:00pm
* 3:00pm – 11:00pm
We're seeking team members who can be flexible and reliable, ready to jump into morning or evening shifts as needed.
Ideally, you're:
* Available for a minimum 6-month commitment (or longer)
* Confident, composed, and genuinely passionate about hospitality
* Someone who brings positive energy to every shift

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously
* Experience working in a 4-5 star resort/hotel front office environment
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Fidelio or Opera Cloud
* Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
* Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
* Remain calm and effective in emergency and high pressure situations
