Job Description
Finance plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data, adhering to government regulations and accounting standards. You will be responsible for supporting the team in meeting financial reporting requirements and maintaining compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
This involves preparing and presenting accurate financial reports and maintaining the organisation's general ledger within our finance system, ensuring timely and precise recording and reporting of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and submitting financial reports and associated documents
* Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity
* Supporting monthly and annual reconciliation processes to identify and rectify any discrepancies
* Analysing variances and providing recommendations for corrective action to improve financial performance
