About the Role
Dragonfly Cafe is currently seeking a full-time Barista to join our front-of-house team. This role reports to the Cafe Manager and is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service.
The Barista plays an important role in creating positive customer experiences and maintaining Dragonfly Cafe's reputation for quality coffee and service

Working Hours
Ordinary hours of work are 38 hours per week, rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
● Preparing and serving coffee and specialty beverages to a high standard.
● Operating coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
● Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
● Taking customer orders and processing cash and EFTPOS transactions.
● Maintaining cleanliness of coffee stations, counters, and dining areas.
● Monitoring stock levels of coffee, milk, and related supplies.
● Assisting with opening and closing procedures as required.
● Complying with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
● Supporting the team during busy service periods.
Minimum Requirements
● Minimum 1–2 years of experience working as a Barista in a café environment.
● Demonstrated ability to prepare espresso-based coffee consistently.
● Strong customer service and communication skills.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional approach.
● Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts.
● Must be able to communicate well in English.
● Applicant must agree to random drug testing.
