Do Work That Matters.The Global Lending and Leasing team provides Corporate Lending services, support, and loan management for the Institutional Banking & Market and Business Banking portfolios. The team is responsible for establishing lending facilities and managing them through the entire process.The team partners with relationship managers and occasionally manages direct customer and stakeholder relationships by delivering exceptional service in loan operations, including reviewing loan terms, inputting loans into the system, and managing the facilities.The Role.You will contribute to servicing Institutional and Corporate clients by managing and maintaining the Corporate Lending portfolio and loan facilities. This includes deal management and loan maintenance for international and domestic loans, both bilateral and syndicated, from an operational perspective.You will handle requests and queries related to these facilities, including establishing the loan in the system and managing additional products such as Cash Advance Facilities, Overdrafts, Bank Guarantees, and Multi-Option Facilities.You will facilitate new transactions by collaborating with internal teams to establish accounts for funding, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including Relationship Management, Product Management, Risk, Origination, and Operations teams to ensure excellent client service.On any given day you will:Establish and maintain Syndicate or Bilateral loan facilities.Support all phases of the loan lifecycle, including confirmation of CPs, first drawdowns, prepayments, terminations, and general maintenance per the facility agreement.Manage lending queries related to various facilities.Facilitate and execute complex lending transactions within specialized systems.Interpret and extract legal documentation for system uploads.Calculate facility fees manually using Excel, prepare invoices, review calculations, and follow up on outstanding payments.Maintain accurate client records within the Deal Management System for audit purposes.Be flexible with work hours to coordinate with international teams.We’re interested in hearing from people who:Have excellent attention to detail, with experience in corporate loans, complex lending operations, or analytical/document auditing roles utilizing Excel.Can recognize and prioritize competing priorities and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.You will also:Be commercially focused with strong analytical skills to understand and analyze loan and facility agreements.Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to a dynamic environment, while also working independently.From here, the opportunities are endlessAt CommBank, we’re committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting the communities we serve.
