Hydraulic Sales Engineer | Mobile Machinery | Product Distribution and Workshop Service Sales

Our client, with a branch located in Yatala, is a well-established company specialising in Hydraulics supply, installation and repair. The position has become available to replace an existing team member, and therefore comes with an existing client base, as well as the opportunity to grow. Looking for someone with experience in the Hydraulics industry to join their close-knit team.
Your new role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be handed over the existing customers and relationships and allow you to start developing relationships of your own, with the goal of continuing the revenue line and growth of the business, and providing quality service to long-term customers.
You will then be required to manage the following tasks:
* Build, maintain and develop relationships by managing inbound enquiries, as well as reaching out to customers through call cycle management, managing leads and identifying new revenue opportunities.
* Utilise your technical knowledge of Hydraulics or Pneumatics to provide expert service and advice
* Provide technical product knowledge and advice in relation to Hydraulic systems design in mobile capital equipment used in Mining, Construction, Agriculture & Forestry
* Achieve set budgets and targets by closing sales in both service provision and product sales
* Collaborate with the team across the Sales & Operations team
What you'll need to succeed:
* Technical understanding of mobile and industrial hydraulic or pneumatic B2B sales
* Understanding of the design of hydraulic circuits and hydraulic systems, including technical aspects such as flows, pressures, safety and schematics of fluid control systems
* Have industry knowledge and collaboratively work alongside the Workshop Floor, scheduling the workloads of a Fitter, Technician and Assembler
* Strong account management skills as you will assume some key accounts, as well as assisting in winning new business
* Be self-motivated and able to provide expert service and advice to customers
