Details: The Communications and Content Officer is a key role within the Information Design, Education and Communication Team, supporting the PSU and the PSSC. The role contributes to building whole‑of‑government understanding of misconduct prevention, early intervention and education, across the ACTPS.
The position is responsible for delivering clear, accessible and strategic communications that explain the role and functions of the PSSC and the PSU, support organisational transparency, and promote consistent understanding of integrity‑related policies, processes and services.
This is an embedded role within the PSU. The occupant is expected to quickly and proactively familiarise themselves with subject matter relating to the PSSC and the PSU, including policies, processes and investigation contexts. While subject‑matter expertise will develop over time, the role requires the ability to independently draft content using existing information and material. Subject matter expert (SME) review is undertaken as a quality assurance step prior to publication.

* Relevant qualifications in communications, engagement or a related field, or equivalent experience.
