The Salvation Army (Salvos) is one of Australia's largest providers of alcohol and other drug (AOD) programs including withdrawal management, residential and non‐residential rehabilitation, and harm reduction programs. Salvos services go beyond addressing the core issues and challenges associated with problematic substance abuse and provide participants a place of hope, compassion, and dignity to recover safely.

About The Role

As a Clinical Nurse, this is your opportunity to provide quality healthcare support, ensure safe and compliant medication practices, guide staff on health matters, oversee participants' clinical needs, and maintain strong relationships with local health providers. Reporting to the Service Manager, this is a permanent part‐time role offering 30.4 hours, 4 days a week, located in The Basin, VIC.

How You Will Make An Impact
* Deliver day‐to‐day health support, including assessments, care planning, urinalysis screening, and coordination of medical and specialist appointments.
* Manage medication processes, including reviews, supervision of self‐administration, audits, and collaboration with AOD staff.
* Maintain accurate health documentation, participant medical files, and required reporting to support safe, compliant service delivery.
* Provide staff training, contribute to therapy groups, and participate in clinical assessments to support consistent, effective practice.
* Liaise with external health services, uphold WHS and accreditation standards, and assist with other duties that support program operations.
What You Will Bring
* Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
* A minimum of three years' experience in the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sector.
* Comprehensive experience in acute care.
* Experience and knowledge of implementing client intake and assessments, individual care and discharge planning.
* A current VIC driver's licence and employee Working with Children's Check.

Conditions

Compensation is in accordance with Nurses Award Level 2.
