Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm

We understand that our residents wish to remain as healthy and independent as possible. The Resident Mobility Assistant works closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Wellbeing Consultants to support residents' mobility and activity.
Role Responsibilities

Assist residents with exercise and physical activity to meet reablement goals.
Spend 1:1 time with residents, helping them access various spaces within the facility, including outdoors.
Support residents in participating in events and social activities to foster social connection.

Qualifications and Skills

Have existing work rights in Australia.
Possess a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Health & Leisure, Ageing Support, or Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
Genuine passion for person-centered care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with residents and staff.

Additional Requirements

Vaccination against seasonal influenza (by June 1) and COVID-19 as per ATAGI guidelines. Exemptions require approval from the Chief Executive.
