As a mental health nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to consumers in various settings. Guided by senior nurses, you will deliver direct and comprehensive care, individual case management, education, counseling, and group work to support consumers on their recovery journey.
Working in line with the National Mental Health Policy and Standards, you will embrace accountability for your practice while collaborating with a range of health professionals and community organizations to achieve the best outcomes for those in your care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care across various settings within the Mental Health Clinical Program.
* Provide comprehensive care, case management, education, counseling, and group work while collaborating with colleagues and community partners to support consumers in achieving positive health and recovery outcomes.
* Contribute to teaching, research, and broader service initiatives aligned with MHCP priorities.
Requirements
* RN-1: A registered nurse with experience in mental health nursing or a relevant field.
* RN-2: A clinical nurse with consolidated experience and/or further study in mental health nursing or a relevant field.
