Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking an experiencedFinancial Analyst to join their team.
The Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Director, Budget Management and Business Partnering. The role provides specialist support to the Senior Director and team in developing internal budget for 2026-27.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the CFO, Senior Directors and Directors to support the strategic priorities and objectives of the Strategic Finance Branch, and liaise directly with business stakeholders on finance related matters.
* Consolidate and interpret financial data from multiple cost centres to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to management to support decision making.
* Provide advice and assistance to managers on developing and implementing systems and procedures that improve financial management, resource allocation, monitoring, and control
Selection Criteria
* Microsoft Excel – Advanced knowledge is essential
* Oracle Financials – Preferred, but not essential
