Job Description
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Generate financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to achieve financial targets.
Manage payroll processes and ensure timely payments.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA/CA Qualified or working towards it.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.
Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
