An exciting leadership opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Director – Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join Mildura Base Public Hospital. This senior position combines clinical practice with strategic leadership, offering the chance to support and shape a growing Women’s Health service while advancing your leadership career.
Working closely with the Clinical Director, you will contribute to clinical governance, workforce management, education, and service development, while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.

The Role
Responsibilities
* Support the Clinical Director in leading Obstetrics & Gynaecology services.
* Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service planning.
* Provide supervision, mentoring, and teaching to junior medical staff.
* Deliver consultant‑level clinical care across obstetrics and gynaecology.
* Play a key role in workforce development and departmental growth.

Remuneration
* Classified under HM39 – HM41.

Requirements
* Fellowship of RANZCOG (or eligibility).
* Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated consultant‑level O&G experience in a public hospital setting.
* Experience in teaching, supervision, and mentoring.
* Previous leadership experience (Deputy Director, Clinical Director, or Supervisor) – desirable.
IMG Suitability
* Substantially Comparable RANZCOG candidates encouraged.
* Suitable for UK, NZ and equivalent trained specialists.
* Support available for AHPRA and college processes.
