We are seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join Renal Services South.
The Nurse Unit Manager provides leadership to the Renal Unit and ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education and nursing research functions within the Renal Unit.
You will need:
* Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in Renal Nursing.
* Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in contemporary nursing management practice, including clinical governance; clinical risk management; evidence based practice; research; clinical standards; ethics; and legislation.
* Leadership skills – ability to promote a shared vision and purpose, and positively influence others (internally and externally) to ensure optimal client outcomes and build a culture of success, commitment, and active contribution by all staff within the practice area.
Applicants should be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Desirable: experience in renal units.
Salary and Working Hours
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, up to 9 months.
Annual salary range: $134,109 to $140,384 per annum (Pro rata). 12% superannuation contribution on top.
Additional allowances: Post Graduate Allowance up to 10% based on qualification type.
