We're seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic—or a Light Vehicle Mechanic ready to upskill—to join our Bendigo VIC workshop. You'll inspect, diagnose, service, and repair waste trucks while enjoying competitive benefits and a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles
* Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure fleet safety and compliance
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Maintain accurate service records using fleet management systems
* Support workshop safety and cleanliness in line with WHS policies
* Carry out basic welding and grinding work as required
About You
* Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
* A valid HR licence (advantageous)
Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrics
* Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and cost-effectively
* Experience with fleet maintenance and running repairs
* Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
