Experience the legal profession from a unique perspective by participating in our Policy Development and Justice Program. This opportunity is perfect for students undertaking their penultimate year of a law or justice-related degree, such as criminology.
This program provides exposure to policy development, legal advice, and high-profile public litigation, legislation creation, and cabinet processes. As an intern, you will contribute to the development of advice provided to the Attorney-General and other justice ministers, while also being part of exciting civil and criminal law reforms and policy projects.
The benefits of this program include a competitive intern salary and the chance to learn about government law creation from the inside. To be eligible, applicants must:
* Be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
* Be in their penultimate year of a law qualification (either undergraduate degree or Juris Doctor/masters) or justice-related qualification (e.g., criminology).
* Be available to commence work on a specified date.
Our recruitment process involves multiple stages, including a behavioural interview and a job offer. Applications close at midnight on a specified day.
