As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. This will involve designing and delivering meaningful intervention programmes that build functional capacity and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing tailored rehabilitation plans and return to work strategies.
* Identifying barriers and implementing practical evidence-based solutions.
* Navigating multiple funding schemes to empower client recovery.
* Collaborating with clients, their families, medical teams, employers and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology and AHPRA accreditation or qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and professional registration with ASORC.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
* A customer first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
* Confidence working independently in the community.
* Driver's licence and vehicle required.
* Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
