The Service Line Partner - Centre Services is an exciting, new role within the IT group of Goodstart Early Learning and will be responsible for strategic relationship management, day to day management and continuous improvement of IT services for Goodstart's centres. The service line is Centre Services which provides service and technology offerings to Goodstart's centres to support essential early childhood education and care. The Centre Services Service Line Partner will be required to develop a good understanding of network operations and the business of the Early Childhood and Care sector.
**About the role**:
The Service Line Partner is the primary point of contact for strategic management of a portion of Goodstart's technology portfolio. The role is tasked with understanding their customer's needs, evaluating the fitness of their portfolio's technologies to meet those needs, and collaboratively creating a strategic roadmap to improve the portfolio to meet any identified deficiencies. Budgeting, vendor, and contract management are critical to the role to ensure that the value-for-money of the technologies under management is maintained over time.
**Your Impact**:
Business relationship management through regular meetings with leadership team to understand their perspectives and concerns with regards to the Products and Services and the priorities for improvement.
Develop remediation and improvement plans at a technical level for the technologies as well as track and monitor trends with incident problems/ issues.
Promote and educate on the services and products available to ensure maximum adoption, understanding and user experience.
Budgetary, contract and financial management through proposing budgets and monitoring expenditure throughout the financial year.
Negotiate new contracts and renegotiate contracts with vendors.
Interview, hire and conduct periodic staff performance reviews.
Build professional development pathways for all staff under management.
**You have**:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology is highly desirable.
Experience in managing a technology product, product portfolio or service line is essential.
A good understanding of ITIL Service Management Practices is important in this role.
