Production Operator / Trainee Welder / Qualified Fabricator – Easyquip Pty Ltd
Casual opportunities – up to 40 hrs/week

We’re looking for Production Operators and Trainee Welders to join our busy fabrication workshop. This is not an apprenticeship role; qualified fabricators are also welcome to apply.
This position operates on day shift schedules only. Hourly rate dependent upon experience.
These roles suit individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical ability to perform hands‑on production tasks (which can be repetitive) in a manufacturing environment.
About the Role
You’ll be working alongside experienced tradespeople manufacturing steel waste equipment and components.
Duties include:
- Assisting with and performing MIG welding and other fabrication tasks – measuring, cutting, folding, and preparing sheet and plate steel.
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Completing repetitive production and assembly work accurately.
- Following work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Willingness to start in one area and build up skills through training.
- Forklift license (advantageous, but not essential).
- Strong commitment to Safe Work Practices and adherence to Easyquip’s policies and procedures.
