We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Compliance Manager to ensure our services consistently meet all contractual, legislative and NDIS Practice Standards requirements.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys systems and reporting, and is passionate about safeguarding participant wellbeing.
About the Role
The Compliance Manager is responsible for gathering, monitoring and reporting on all compliance-related activities across the organisation. You will oversee compliance calendars, internal audits, restrictive practice administration, training compliance and participant file integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Regulated Restrictive Practice (RRP) Administration
* Weekly and monthly RRP reporting via the NDIS portal
* Preparation of DCJ submissions (Medication Purpose Forms, BSPs, schedules, profiles, side effects)
* Panel coordination
* Maintaining review calendars and tracking spreadsheets
NDIS Practice Standards & Internal Auditing
* Ensure compliance with applicable NDIS modules
* Conduct monthly internal audits in line with compliance calendar
* Maintain Continuous Improvement, Feedback & Complaints, and Conflict of Interest registers
Training Compliance
* Monitor online training compliance
* Prepare training reports and employee notifications
* Ensure participant profile compliance
* Prepare monthly HR compliance reports
* Delegate and liaise with offshore compliance support where required
Help Desk & Operational Compliance
* Maintain compliance task calendar
* Organise and script spot checks (including video-based audits)
* Conduct medication audits (Webster packs & prescriptions)
* Coordinate evacuation drills and WHS safety walk-throughs
* Provide monthly compliance reporting to Operations
Participant File Compliance
* Random sampling of shift notes and incidents
* Ensure risk assessments, profiles, service agreements and health plans are current
* Monitor incident compliance and documentation accuracy
* Report findings to Operations Manager
About You
You will bring:
✔ Experience in disability support (SIL experience highly regarded)
✔ Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and incident reporting
✔ Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
✔ Confidence mentoring and guiding staff
✔ Strong reporting and administrative capability
✔ Ability to work autonomously within structured guidelines
Essential Requirements
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Unrestricted Australian work rights
Desirable
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Disability) or similar
* Experience in audit preparation and compliance monitoring
What This Role Is Not
This role does not include rostering, payroll, or disciplinary processes. It is focused purely on compliance, monitoring, systems, and quality assurance.
