The Finance and Property department are seeking to recruit a full-time Rates / Finance Officer to support the team in completing work resulting from changes to the Emergency Services Volunteer Fund from the property services levy. Additionally the successful applicant will provide support to the finance team through the implementation of council's new software system.

Qualifications
Essential
 * Current Drivers Licence
 * Employee Working With Children's Check
Experience
Essential
 * Substantial practical experience in rating or similar field
 * Demonstrated skill & experience in customer service
Key selection criteria 1
Experience in the handling & reconciliation of financial transactions.
Key selection criteria 2
Understanding of the services and activities undertaken by the Shire.
Key selection criteria 3
Knowledge of relevant technology and equipment for the use related to this position.
