Senior Lecturer, Education Focused
The role involves contributing to outstanding educational design, delivery, evaluation, and outcomes in a rural setting.
* Design, deliver, and evaluate curricula that align with the program's objectives
* Engage in pedagogical and/or scholarship activities to enhance student learning experiences
* Provide academic oversight and leadership for the Year One component of the Doctor of Medicine Program at Dubbo
Responsibilities
* Lead academic staff and tutors within the portfolio to ensure high-quality teaching and coordination
* Support the pastoral care needs of students at the Clinical School, fostering a safe and inclusive environment
* Ensure governance and compliance requirements are met for the Sydney Medical Program Doctor of Medicine and the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program/Murray Darling Medical Schools Program Parameters
* Contribute to the orientation and induction of students and staff to the area, promoting a seamless transition
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications, including a Bachelor or Higher Degree in a biomedical sciences field, or a Bachelor of Medicine/Doctor of Medicine (MD) /Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised tertiary institution
* A minimum of 4 years post-primary medical/biomedical sciences qualification or master's level qualification in a related field, or PhD in a related field
* Demonstrated excellence in research or scholarly activities relevant to educational design and practice
