Job Description
Shape the workforce that shapes lives. This senior partnering role sits at the heart of service delivery, enabling leaders to navigate complexity, build capability, and deliver sustainable outcomes for people and communities.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional HRBP role; it is a senior partnering role where people, performance, and purpose intersect. You will work with senior leaders across a geographically dispersed portfolio, translating people strategy into practical, grounded solutions.
Responsibilities
* Partnering with senior leaders to align workforce strategy with service delivery outcomes
* Leading workforce planning and capability uplift across a multi‐site, multi‐state workforce
* Coaching leaders to build clear, accountable and high‐performing teams
* Navigating complex ER/IR and workforce risk with sound judgement and pragmatism
* Embedding psychosocial safety, wellbeing and sustainable ways of working
* Using data and insight to inform decisions, strengthen performance and anticipate risk
Qualifications & Experience
You are a seasoned HR leader who understands that good people practice is not theoretical — it is lived, applied and felt.
* Experience as a senior HR Business Partner in complex, service delivery environments
* Strong capability in workforce planning, organisational change and ER/IR
* The confidence and judgement to advise, challenge and support leaders through complexity
* A coaching mindset — balancing care, clarity and accountability
* A practical, solutions‐focused approach, grounded in data and attention to detail
Experience in community services, health, government or the not‐for‐profit sector will be highly regarded — equally important is your alignment to purpose and your ability to operate in environments where the work truly matters.
