The Role
As CFO, you'll oversee the financial health and strategy of a business that has achieved remarkable success within Australia. With a diverse portfolio of operations and a reputation for innovation, the company is poised for further growth, and you'll be at the helm of its financial transformation.
You'll lead a high-performing large team of finance professionals. Reporting directly to the Board & CEO your influence will extend across multiple business units, driving efficiency, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Design and implement financial strategies that support the company's vision for growth.
Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multi-unit operations.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee all financial functions, ensuring seamless operations and process optimisation.
Collaborate with the internal legal team to manage compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold governance standards.
Business Partnership:
Act as a key advisor to the Board & CEO, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions.
Drive initiatives related to capital investment, cost management, and new business opportunities.
Inspire and develop a diverse team of finance professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Foster collaboration across onshore and offshore teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Leverage financial expertise to explore and implement growth opportunities across various industries.
Spearhead initiatives that position the business as a market leader in its sectors.
About You
A proven track record as a CFO or senior financial leader in a high-growth, complex business environment.
Experience managing financial operations across diverse industries and business units.
Exceptional skills in strategic planning, financial modeling, and risk management.
A collaborative leader capable of managing large, multi-location teams, including offshore contractors.
CPA/CA qualifications and in-depth knowledge of Australian financial regulations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels.
