Experienced Senior Account Manager - Insurance Broking
As a seasoned Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of existing clients and drive new business opportunities by closely collaborating with our clients to understand their needs, offering tailored insurance solutions, and delivering exceptional service that fosters lasting relationships.
This role demands an individual who is proactive, client-centric, and experienced in handling complex commercial insurance accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
* Provide expert advice, renewals, quotes, and policy management across a range of insurance products.
* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through market research and relationship building.
* Maintain strong client relationships via excellent service and regular communication.
* Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate competitive premiums and coverage terms.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, adhering to industry best practices.
* Contribute to team targets and business development initiatives, driving growth and innovation.
About You:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar Account Manager or Insurance Broker role, preferably in the commercial insurance sector.
Strong understanding of general insurance products, particularly commercial insurance policies.
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or equivalent) is essential for this position.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience with broking systems (e.g., WinBEAT, Insight) is highly advantageous for this role.
