GM³ is an emerging Australian metallurgical coal mining entity owned by global investment entity Golden Energy and Resources (GEAR) and M Resources, a market leader in metallurgical coal industry services.
Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in Wollongong and reporting into the Manager ERP & Applications, you'll lead functional support for SAP EAM (PM) and MM (Procurement & Supply Chain), ensuring stability, alignment and continuous improvement across maintenance and supply processes.
This role is central to connecting operational teams at site and corporate, digital technology, and SAP support partners, to enhance how GM³ plans, maintains and procures.
You'll help streamline processes, improve data quality and drive improvements to operational outcomes across our sites.
Key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
• Coordinating functional issue resolution and ensuring smooth daily SAP operations.
• Supporting SAP enhancements, testing cycles and release readiness.
• Facilitating workshops and discussions that lift SAP capability across teams.
• Strengthening master data quality and functional structures in EAM and MM.
• Assisting with SAP project activities including planning, cutover and readiness.
ABOUT YOU
You're a hands-on, solutions-focused professional who brings strong communication, analytical thinking and an improvement mindset. You thrive in collaborative environments and can balance operational needs with technical realities.
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Providing functional SAP support across EAM, MM and related processes.
• Working with cross-functional teams and external support partners.
• Translating operational requirements into practical SAP solutions.
• Managing competing priorities while maintaining service stability.
Qualifications, skills, and competencies:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or a related discipline.
• SAP training or certification in EAM, MM or associated modules.
• Strong understanding of maintenance, procurement and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with SAP integration points and AMS/agile support environments.
