Job Summary:
Production Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal systems and relevant legislation, providing support with quality activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role:
* Ensure adherence to internal SHE systems and relevant safety, health and environment legislation;
* Provide support with day-to-day quality activities;
* Support continuous improvement initiatives on site;
* Contribute to site-level engineering inputs for plant/equipment;
* Perform engineering calculations for production requirements;
* Assist with production planning;
* Aid with cost inputs to sales estimates;
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Civil or other relevant Engineering disciplines;
* Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry (or related industries);
* Interest in project management and delivering projects from infancy to completion;
* Sound understanding of process improvement/CI principles;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and CAD;
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
* Excellent customer focus and effective communication skills;
