A leading global organization is seeking an experienced O&M Engineer to join its dynamic team driving the performance and reliability of cutting-edge solar and BESS assets.

About the Role
As an O&M Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal operation of renewable energy systems in a supportive, growth-focused environment with a strong pipeline of projects.
Responsibilities
* Optimize and manage control systems for solar generation assets
* Oversee network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls for SCADA and automation systems
* Monitor system performance, diagnose faults in SCADA, PLCs, and data communication networks
* Work closely with technicians to troubleshoot control, electrical, and network issues
* Ensure compliance with grid codes, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements, including SOCI Act for critical workers
* Support system upgrades, network expansions, and maintain technical documentation
* Manage system security, including safeguarding passwords and access protocols
* Perform routine maintenance and prepare detailed maintenance reports
* Conduct fault-finding and develop Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
* At least 3 years of experience in control systems and industrial network management
* Strong skills in SCADA, HMI interfaces, PLC programming, and IP-based communications
* Knowledge of network tools, topologies, and cybersecurity best practices
* Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
* Passion for renewable energy and a collaborative team spirit
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Australia when needed
* Compliance with SOCI Act requirements for critical workers
