Whilst the Office of the Valuer-General (OVG) Directorate is part of DHUD, we are an independent Office with our own goals and mission – to deliver fair and equitable statutory valuations for all properties in the State. We are primarily staffed with specialist property valuers and support staff and are responsible and accountable for the State's Land Valuation System and ensuring that the functions undertaken by the Service Provider, Land Services SA (LSSA), in performing statutory valuations across the State are compliant and effectively administered in accordance with the Valuation of Land Act 1971 and the Land Services Agreement. The OVG also supports government decision making through the provision of professional valuation advice and strategic services.

The Role:
Working closely with the Director, Regulatory & Advisory Valuations, this is a 6-month term contract (backfill) opportunity for an experienced and motivated Liaison Officer.
This role is the primary contact for the Valuer-General's statutory clients and our Service Provider, contributes to outward facing communications and has responsibility for coordinating the annual Year in Review report. Responsibilities also include provision of high level business and operational support including monitoring and reporting of workflows.
About You:
OVG is seeking to recruit an experienced Liaison Officer with high level stakeholder engagement and communication skills for a 6 month term contract opportunity.
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following areas:
* Experience in delivering highly detailed customer service and stakeholder communications through clear, technical responses and effective engagement. Coordinating and monitoring workflows, reporting and the formulation of audience appropriate responses/solutions.
* Coordinating, undertaking and reviewing stakeholder engagement and communications plans and operations.
This term contract is a backfill opportunity for leave coverage and includes sufficient time for suitable handover and training.

Desirable Qualification and Licences:
* A current Driver's Licence.
* Tertiary qualification in Business - Property or other relevant discipline.
Special Conditions
* Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.
* Some intra/interstate travel may be required.
Remuneration:
ASO6 – $98,478 min – $104,165 max + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
