As the business continues to expand, the leadership team is refining how the office operates, creating an opportunity for an Estimator to take full ownership of the function. This is not a support role. You will be trusted to manage the estimating process end-to-end and influence how it evolves over time.

What you’ll be doing
* Prepare accurate estimates, budgets and purchase orders for residential builds
* Collaborate with design, drafting, contracts and construction teams
* Review supplier and subcontractor pricing, identifying scope gaps early
* Maintain and refine cost libraries, templates and internal systems
* Support smooth handover between pre-construction and delivery
* Suggest value-add options and cost efficiencies without compromising quality
* Use Buildxact or similar estimating software to manage workflows
What you’ll bring
* Experience in custom or architectural production/sales estimating essential.
* Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings
* Familiarity with Buildxact, Asana or similar software
* Genuine integrity – you own your mistakes and take pride in fixing them
* Solution-focused mindset – things go wrong, but you find a way forward
* Confident working autonomously while collaborating with the wider team
* Exposure to challenging builds such as sloping blocks, cantilevered stairs and high-end finishes
