About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated clinician to join our team as a Clinical Education & Simulation Advisor. This is a part-time temporary role based at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and evaluate agile, multi-modal learning solutions including face-to-face training, simulation-based education, virtual learning, and blended models.
* Collaborate closely with Clinical Educators, Heads of Department, and Clinical and Service Managers to design and deliver high-quality education that supports staff development and enhances clinical performance.
* Promote contemporary learning practices, advance simulation-based training, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A solid background in simulation education services, combining both practical expertise and contemporary knowledge in clinical training.
* Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating inter-professional, multi-disciplinary learning programs, using adult learning principles to meet both strategic and operational needs.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills enabling you to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in the use of varied software programs, including word processing, data management systems, spreadsheets, and simulation equipment or software.
