Job Title: Data Entry Administrator
Department: Stores and Operations
Reports To: Store Supervisor
Location: Maryborough QLD
Job Purpose
The Data Entry Administrator maintains accurate records of purchase orders and inventory transactions within the ERP system, supporting stores and purchasing functions.
Main Responsibilities
* Input and maintain purchase orders, receipts, and stock movements in the ERP system.
* Maintain data accuracy and system integrity through regular housekeeping tasks.
* Perform goods receipting, including checking deliveries, labelling, and updating stock records.
* Support physical stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies between ERP data and actual stock.
* Assist with issuing and returning stock, tools, and consumables to production staff.
* Liaise with suppliers and accounts to resolve PO or invoice issues.
* Prepare simple reports (open purchase orders, stock usage, shortages) as required.
* Maintain filing and digital records relating to purchasing and stores.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Requirements and Skills
* Previous experience in data entry, stores, or purchasing support is desirable.
* Knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo preferred) or demonstrated ability to learn quickly is essential.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping is crucial.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication is necessary.
* Understanding of basic inventory control and purchasing processes is vital.
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills are required.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a busy environment is essential.
* Forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory.
