About the Role
As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for:
Leading the service with vision, authenticity, and a commitment to excellence.
Empowering educators through mentoring, professional development, and supportive leadership.
Ensuring compliance with the NQS, EYLF, and regulatory requirements.
Partnering with families, community members, and farm staff to deliver meaningful experiences.
Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality educational programs.
Overseeing daily operations, budgeting, enrolments, and team culture.
Creating an environment where children feel valued, capable, and inspired.
What You'll Need
Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved).
Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director.
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory compliance.
Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – NSW requirement.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Essential Qualifications
A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to maintain one.
First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage a team of educators, ensuring optimal performance and staff retention.
Capability to handle day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting and resource allocation.
Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, ensuring the Service remains compliant.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with families, staff, regulatory bodies and the broader community.
Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Experience in a previous Service Manager, Centre Director, Centre Manager role or similar.
Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise among staff or with families.
Experience in budgeting, financial planning and resource management.
Ability to utilize relevant software for management, communication, and reporting purposes.
A commitment to ongoing training and development to stay updated with sector changes and best practices.
