What You'll Be Doing
* Learning the ropes of sales directly from our Business Development Manager
* Getting out and about across Western Sydney, meeting local businesses
* Prospecting, canvassing and opening new doors (yes — calls and face-to-face)
* Learning all about scrap metal, recycling & sustainability
* Supporting sales activity through CRM updates and pipeline tracking
* Sitting in on client meetings and industry events
* Helping prepare quotes, proposals — and learning how to close the deal
* Researching competitors and market trends
* Working with internal teams to build tailored solutions for customers
About You
You don't need industry experience — we can teach that. What we can't teach is attitude.
You're:
* Confident, motivated and not afraid to have a go
* Comfortable talking to people in person and on the phone
* Hungry to learn, grow and build a long-term career
* Goal-driven, organised, reliable and well presented
* Resilient — you don't give up after a "no"
You'll also need:
* A valid driver's licence & reliable transport
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & ongoing D&A testing
* Waste / scrap metal experience is a bonus (but not required)
