Responsibilities
* Perform general facility maintenance, including minor repairs, adjustments, and equipment upkeep.
* Assist with routine inspections of warehouse machinery, racking, and building infrastructure.
* Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, or carpentry tasks within capability and safety parameters.
* Support preventative maintenance programs and promptly report equipment faults or hazards.
* Maintain workshop and equipment areas, ensuring tools are organised and workspaces are safe and clean.
* Assist with the assembly, repair, or relocation of shelving, benches, or warehouse fixtures.
* Respond to maintenance requests and priorities set by supervisors or operations staff.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Your Profile
* Previous experience in maintenance, handyperson/caretaker duties, or general repair work (warehouse or industrial experience advantageous but not required).
* Competent with hand tools, power tools, and basic fault‐finding.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
* Comfortable performing manual tasks in a warehouse environment.
* Understanding of safe work practices.
* Availability for part-time hours (2 days per week).
