Groovy Kidz is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a genuine commitment to delivering high quality education and care. The successful applicant will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
This is a permanent part-time position, with a minimum of 21 hours per week. We offer above-award wages and are seeking someone who is available for flexible shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm.

* A relevant early childhood qualification (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care).
* Demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Flexibility and reliability to work a variety of shifts within our operating hours.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
* Actively contribute to the delivery of high quality education and care in line with Groovy Kidz philosophy, values, policies, and procedures.
* Build and maintain positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Design and implement engaging learning environments and experiences that promote children's social, emotional, physical, intellectual, language, and cultural development.
* Observe, document, and critically reflect on children's learning and development, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Maintain accurate records and comply with all legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in line with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Participate in team meetings, professional learning, and development opportunities, including those held outside of standard working hours.
* Demonstrate resilience and professionalism in responding to challenges.

Selection Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential).
* A current Working with Children Check (essential).
* Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management and CPR certification (desirable).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective computer literacy and organisational skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to workplace culture.
* A high level of initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
