Role Overview
We are hiring a part‐time Grounds & Maintenance Officer for the Ingenia Lifestyle Kokomo site in Blueys Beach, Barrington Coast. Reporting to the Park Manager, you will keep the park looking beautiful, safe and welcoming, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‐maintained environment every day.
Responsibilities
* Maintain outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting and pest control.
* Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation areas, pool zones and equipment.
* Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines.
* Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
* Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
Qualifications
* Current "C" Class manual driver's licence.
* Hands‐on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
* Proactive, positive and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team‐first attitude.
* Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
* Knowledge of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
* Energy, ideas and a genuine passion for making a difference, loving to work with people, solve problems and create memorable moments.
