The Nutrition & Dietetics team

* We are a diverse, enthusiastic, and supportive team of 23 dietitians.

The Position

* The Senior Dietitian will provide a consumer focused and high quality clinical dietetic service in the allocated clinical areas, which may include: medical, surgical, paediatrics, parenteral nutrition. Services may be provided to inpatients or outpatients.
* The Senior Dietitian will contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service through practice supervision with other staff, and contribution to service planning and quality improvement activities.


You will need

* Significant clinical dietetic experience across a wide range of clinical areas and ability to manage complex cases.
* Exceptional teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Leadership skills in providing professional supervision and undertaking quality improvement activities.

Details of appointment

Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 33 hours per fortnight, 16 March 2026 until 31 December 2026.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.


Salary

$110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022.


Salary Packaging

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.


Allowances

Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

Eligibility

* Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Dietitians Australia or overseas qualified dietitians will be required to complete Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) through Dietitians Australia
* Eligible for full membership with the Dietitians Australia.
* Eligible to join the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program.

Or where regulatory requirements exist, NDIS Q&S Commission Provider Registration Requirements

* Full member of Dietitians Australia
