About the role
Growing Minds Early Learning Centre, located in Tamworth, NSW, is seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of early childhood educators to deliver exceptional care and educational experiences for the children in our centre.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead a team of early childhood educators to create a nurturing, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that support the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of children
* Collaborate with parents/guardians to understand and address the individual needs of each child
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements
* Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children through the implementation of effective policies and procedures
* Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced educators to support their professional growth
* Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an early childhood educator, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
* Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and team members
* Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
* Valid Working with Children Check
