What You'll be doing This position provides a unique opportunity to undertake a range of experiences in Medical Administration. The role of the Supervisor of International Medical Graduates (IMGs) is to direct the education and training in the hospital. In performing this role, the fundamental responsibility of the Supervisor of IMGs is to ensure patient safety at all times in relation to the governance and support for IMGs working within SWSLHD, Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals and to work collaboratively with the Director of Medical Services and the Executive Team. The Supervisor of IMGs at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals has responsibilities for professional leadership in medical services, working with clinical staff to strengthen clinical involvement in decision-making, professional leadership and coordination of medical services for the hospital. MBBS or equivalent, currently holds General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). 2. Minimum of 5 years full-time post Internship experience and having held General Registration in Australia for at least 3 years. 3. Demonstrated experience of provision of clinical leadership, medical education and governance over a training program. 4. A commitment to and confidence in improving the quality of IMG education and training offered by SWSLHD. 5. Demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with senior health professionals, management and external agencies. 6. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise. 7. Commitment to quality assurance and teaching. 8. Demonstrated and well developed planning, organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to show initiative.
